"FRANCE May Make Mental Violence a Crime"!!

Wow, there is an article in the New York Times regarding this; I have contacted the reporter, and sent in an article (my paper entitled; Society's Hidden "Epidemic"..Verbal Abuse; Precursor to Physical Violence and a Form of Biochemical Assault."

The Prime Minister of France, Francois Fillon (a definite hottie, LOL) is behind it. He says: "will allow people to take into account the most insidious situations, which don't leave a mark to the naked eye but can mutilate the victim's inner self."

I am going to write to the Prime Minister, as soon as the Library gets that address for me!

This is excellent news. All nations should follow their lead!

It's good to finally see France doing something positive.

working with children it becomes clear that many children say exactly what they think...socialisation allows filtering and
kindness tempers what an adult says...

I know adults who speak before they think. Not a good idea.
We need to slow down our reaction time.

I have noticed that often people feel thay have to respond to any statement with a comment when a nod or "thats interesting" or "do you think so" would suffice..but when in amongst people just letting everyone have their share of speaking "bytes" is just good manners .
and they do say "empty barrels make most noise"

Verbal abuse within the family unit is but one singular part of the most destructive form of abuse being practiced today imo: infidelity and the resulting destruction of the family unit, especially one involving children.

I would love to see the head of France address THAT issue in its totality, which is far more fatally catastrophic to a spouse, child, marriage, and family.
