Sometime this month my grandson Jared and his wife will find out the sex of their baby to be. I am on pins and needles to know so I can begin another afghan in the proper colors.

What colors will you select for a boy, girl?

Well Anne, there is a new baby yarn out there that is so silky and soft yet a thicker yarn. It comes in pastel blues and white. There are also deeper blue yarns and even some multi minty green colors. It depends on what the mom likes too. Now if it is a girl I have several pinks already made.

There's an interesting article from the Smithsonian Magazine about pink/blue for boys and girls:

Love that smithsonian article, yonuh. Don't you love the name
"Delano"?

Great, interesting article, Yonuh. Amazing how very young they are when they start receiving cues from the world and their parents. Guess it will slowly swing another way eventually.
