My conversation with my 3-year old grandson on the telephone last night.
Him: "I called my uncle. No one is answering the phone."
Me: "He's at work, darling. I'll tell them you phoned."
Him: "It's okay. I'll call him at work."
My daughter calls up half an hour later to tell me her son phoned 999!
Him: "Mum has got ants in pants."
Me: "I heard what you did. Why did you call 999?"
Him: "Because Uncle... is a firefighter and you call 999 if you want a firefighter. You said he was at work."
