Young woman-special request - 12/04/06 01:32 PM

A beautiful person is in great and urgent need of God's intervention in her life. Please help me pray for her. Situation is too delicate to detail but God knows and loves her more than any human can. I appreciate it!

Song, You must have so much compassion. Your love and concern for those in need is so wonderful to know. I will definitely pray for this young person. And for you as you show such kindness to people in need.

Not to cover this prayer request, but the biopsy of my niece's husband, Clint, is possibly being conducted today. We are supposed to know for sure tomorrow. I hope you will join me in praying the miracle continues and everything is as healthy as it appeared when they took the sample.

Thanks so much.

May I add to this prayer list? I'm very worried about my oldest daughter. She's having an MRI today and if the results are positive, it's going to be a very brutal surgery. She's really been suffering. Please pray for her.

Could you give us an update? Prayers are being offered.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/07/06 04:00 PM

We have to wait for the results of the MRI before we know more. Could take up to one week.

Anno? I didn't know this. What's it for? You can be sure I will be praying for him.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/08/06 08:11 PM

Anno, you can add whoever you want.

Dianne, don't you wonder why in the world it akes a week to read an MRI? Sorry you have to wait so long.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/08/06 11:57 PM

I also wondered why it would take a week. Dennis had his CT on Friday, had it read on Monday and a biopsy the same day. The biopsy results came back on Monday evening. Does not seem right to me.

Dianne, Dennis has a lump on his neck about the size of an egg. 90% chance it is not cancerous, but regarless, he goes in for surgery tommorow morning.

Thought of you this morning, Anno, and said a prayer for you and Dennis. Please let us know how it went.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/09/06 09:46 PM

Hello girl friends

Dennis had surgery this morning and all is quite grand. It was a benign cyst that was situated between the muscle and the carotid artery. Seems it is something that is formed while still in the womb. The doctor said he was an anomally - usually this shows up in much younger people. Actually, he is the second oldest person the doctor has operated on with this problem. Anyway, it came out smoothly with absolutely no complications. He is now sitting up in a chair and feeling rather sassy.

I brought my lap laptop with me and listened to inspirational downloads all morning. In the afternoon, Dennis felt good enough to shop online for watches!

Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers. I know they helped both of us.

Thanks JJ and Dianne
Yes, Dennis is special. And our life together is incredibly special. I am so happy for the both of us.

Yes, Dianne, let's get together, soon. Edina sounds great. You ever hear of FA? We'll go there and more.

I am HAPPY. Ann

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/10/06 03:45 AM

Hi, Anno: I am so happy to hear that all went well with Dennis' surgery and it was nothing more than the "something else". Thank God for that.

It does seem to be a long wait for the results, Dianne, but I pray that all would be well for your daughter as with all who we offer prayers for.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/10/06 02:53 PM

Ann, I've walked by FA but never went in.

If my daughter has to have this surgery, they will remove a rib, collapse a lung and go into the disk. It's some major stuff. Her family has had a rough year...her son had surgery on his knee, her oldest daughter broke her collarbone, her youngest broke three toes and her husband had back surgery. It's been really stressful for all of them.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/10/06 07:05 PM

Oh, wow, Dianne. They have had a difficult year. I hope they are taking care of themselves. This is a ton of stress to go through in one year.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/11/06 01:53 AM

Hi Dianne, I hope all works out for your daughter.

Ann: I'm glad Dennis is up to buying, even if it's on;y online. I'm glad it all went well for him.

Regarding the young woman I asked for, nothing has changed, at least, nothing noticeably; but I trust the Lord loves her more than any of us who care for her. Thanks for your prayers. Love and blessings to all!

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/11/06 12:33 PM

Songbird, I will keep praying and keeping her in my thoughts. Please keep us posted.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/15/06 08:03 PM

This is something that we pray for day in-day out. Her needs are just enormous right now. And there is just so little others can do other than pray...

Things seem to get complicated, instead of better. I know that God can use even the most trying circumstaces for the good of his childfen and pray that this is one case where HE remains in control and produces an outcome that will glorify his name.

Please continue praying for this young woman. Thanks!!

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/16/06 10:59 PM

The MRI on my daughter showed it was indeed a C-5 herniated disk but they aren't going to do surgery and have put her on steroids for a little while. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/18/06 02:07 AM

Dianne, A new treatment you might want to consider is Spinal deconmpression therapy. I had it for a herniated disk and it worked.

Also, I would like to request continued prayer for my niece's husband. He has a mass in his chest. On his last biopsy, they couldnt' find anything, but the doctors are convinced there is a mass of some kind in his lungs so he is going in for more biopsies tomorrow and if they find cancer, he will start on either chemotherapy or have his lung removed, then go on chemotherapy. He's in his early thirties and they have a couple of kids. Please pray for a miracle.

Re: Young woman-special request - 12/19/06 04:31 AM

The mass in my Niece's husband's lungs was biopsied three times today. They first biopsied the lymph nodes for lymphoma. There was nothing there. They opened his chest to biopsy what they saw on the various tests as a large mass and nothing was there. We know it was a miracle. He is still hospitalized and quite ill from the procedure, but they found absolutely NO cancer. The mass had miraculously disappeared. The doctors were astounded.

Dianne, google spinal decompression therapy. It's a computerized machine that essentially stretches your back to relieve the pressure on the nerves that causes the pain. It worked for me when I was in such pain after my ankle surgery and being in a cast for five months a couple of years ago. I combined it with accupuncture and low light laser treatments. After two or three months, I was a new person.

Thanks for the prayers for my nephew. We are all so blessed that he is okay.
