Unselfish prayers - 11/30/06 04:13 PM

Last night in church, the preacher reminded us to not pray only for those we know in need, but for those who still don't know the Lord, that they may come to know him.

If it is difficult for those who know the Lord to endure trials and difficulties, it is so much more difficult for those who don't have their trust in God. There are many oppressed by the devil, bound by addictions, crime, abuse, etc.

There are many starving for food, but also for the Bread of Life. Let's keep them in our prayers and also, let us do all we can to bring hope to others by showing them Christ, the Way, the Truth & the Life.

Again, not to cover a very important prayer request, but my niece's husband, Clint, is supposed to be in surgery at this time. He is in a hospital about 100 miles away and we have a snowstorm so I can't be with my sister and my niece.

Please pray for a miraculous outcome for Clint and their family.

And also for Dave who is probably in radiation now.

Thank you for your prayers. Boomer prayers are powerful.

Songbird your minister is right on the subject and for me I never think to pray for those people who haven't yet found God...
Prayer request answered Smilinize. Hoping for a blessed outcome for both men.
