Wounded soldiers. - 11/17/06 02:02 PM

Please see prior post for another prayer concern. Sorry to cover it up.

Some of you may remember Ellie who posted here for quite some time. Anyway, I got an email asking her to post this:

I have not been on the site in ages and do miss it - I need your prayer power
Ryan Major - who is a very close friend of Corey and Michael's and lived with us for a while, was critically injured in Iraq on 11/10 - he has been flown to Walter Reed,
has lost a leg and is in a drug induced coma but the injuries are still considered critical - Michael and Corey went to Walter Reed today and came home very sad
He has a whole body cast - Please pray the God will work his miracles on this young man.

This gives me chills every time I read it. And this is only one of our wounded soldiers. Please hold those and thier loved ones in prayer. Thanks so much.

I just read this. He has my prayers as well. I kept thinking as I was reading it, this could be my son. God love him and surround him!

My prayers go out to Ryan and his family. I'm about to go in and wake my son up for work and I know I'll give him a big hug knowing I'm lucky to have him safe in my home. I pray for all the troops in harm's way and their families who are staying strong for them.

Donna

P.S. Thank all of you who prayed for my friend's son who was on his way home from Iraq four long months ago when they announced that his term had been extended... Well... the four months is nearly over and my friend leaves for Alaska next friday to see him arrive back in the states... What a wonderful thanksgiving gift.

Donna-Blessings amidst the sadness of injuries and loss of servicemen and women. How thankful we should be for having our loved ones safe. May we always pray for those in harms way.

I'm praying for Ryan, his family and all our troops. In spite of the pictures we see, the stories we read, it's not even close to what they endure out there. May God keep them safe.

Amen to that, Amen! Can you believe that there are soldiers who lost their leg and still want to go back and finish the job? Amazing! God has truly Blessed this Nation.

Prayers are out for Ryan, please let us know how he is doing.

I love you all alot!

I have an update on Ryan, but I want to see exactly what parts I can post. Please continue praying for him. He needs a miracle. He's had many surgeries. Ellie's sons visit him every day. Please pray for them too.

Gladly praying for them all. Hearing about Ryan and knowing that there are so many more like him suffering from this war, makes our little problems about what to serve, what to wear, or who to ask over or what we are getting seem so insignificant somehow....

Ladies, this poor soldier has endured many surgeries and is surviving. Now there is concern about possible brain damage. It's a nightmare for all that know him. And this is only one of our soldiers who came home wounded. Please pray for him and all the rest.

We continue praying! They endure so much for serving our country! Their families need our support and prayers too!
I'm praying for a Christmastime miracle in Ryan's life. God knows and loves him more than anyone else.
