This is my list for good quality cake, pastry, torte, tarte...for the rare, special times we want to treat our families, ourselves.

Oh my God Orchid, I gained three pounds just looking at that delicious blog. I swear I could smell the bakery. Loved it!!!

Methinks, chatty, that Edelweiss might have a word or 2 to add. I'm not sure if it will be more hints to encourage or discourage selection of such pastries!

oh my, oh my, oh my! I love food displays - I just keep telling myself they must look better than they taste. Nice pictures, orchid. Tell us more about the trip.

I love cake frosting, especially that homemade stuff with the
confectioner sugar. When I was a kid mom would let one of us
lick the spoon and the other the bowl with the leftover frosting.
What an awesome memory!
