PEACHES ITALIANO

Ingredients:

6 Nice size peaches, halved and pitted
12 Tbsp. Rogue Creamery Blue Cheese, at room temperature
12 Tbsp. roasted almonds, chopped
Honey

Directions:

Preheat a grill to medium high. Grill the peaches, cut side down until well marked and lightly cooked.
Arrange the peaches cut side up on six plates. Fill each cavity with a tablespoon of blue cheese and a tablespoon of almonds. Drizzle honey over the peaches.
Serve at once...

Chopped walnuts can be substituted for almonds,

What could you use instead of the blue cheese? Sounds delicious and pretty to see.

You can use either flavored cream cheese or plain cream cheese with a little mint or cinnamon flavoring mixed in, or a spice you like. They are quite nice in appearance.
