Indulge in this dessert as a sweet, hot, late night snack. It's bursting with all the good things: immunity-building yogurt, healthy nuts, blood sugar-influencing cinnamon, and cholesterol-fighting fiber in the apple and orange. All this and only 180 calories. You can still have a satisfying dessert with all the flavor and none of the guilt...

HOT FRUIT

Ingredients:

1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped.
1 navel orange, peeled and chopped.
1 tsp. ground cinnamon.
1/2 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt.
2 tbsp. pecan or walnut pieces.

Directions:

Combine the apple, orange, and cinnamon in a medium microwaveable bowl.

Cover with a lid or vented plastic wrap, and microwave on high for 4 minutes, or until the fruit is hot and soft.

Divide into two bowls, and spoon the yogurt evenly over each. Sprinkle with pecans or walnuts and serve warm...

Yum, sounds delicious! I like all those ingredients. I made a fresh fruit salad the other day that was really good. I needed some crispy fruit after all the junk food we had eaten for the past few days.
