name the boomer newsletter

I'm changing some things around since the six month anniversary and evaluation of NABBW.

I'm combining the BWS and NABBW newsletters and I'm searching for a newsletter name.

I'm thinking something like
All Things Baby Boomer Women
or
Everything Baby Boomer Women.

How would you like to enter the contest to name the BWS/NABBW Newsletter?

I remember Pam named the Bragging Writes forum.

Anyone want to take a stab at it?

Sorry, just had to throw that one in!!! Saw a group of "experienced" ladies yesterday at the hospital. They were there to tour the part of the cancer center that their golf tournament had benefitted. Oh at the canes and jewelry, but dont get in their way, they were all pretty spry and were there to see what their money had bought! Would not have wanted to be trampled by that lot!!

Should it simply be Boomer Women Speak? Hmmm, I think not.

I like The Hot Flash but I'm in this for the long haul and boomer women won't always have hot flashes. Will we?

Am I being too serious?

The Baby Boomer Broadcast is good but it would have to have women in it because I'm not including men!

Think big. Think forever. Think in terms of magazine/newspaper names.

Melissa, bluehairs? I'm not ready for that yet. HA!

Think of what the 60s were like. Think about us being pioneers in our own right. Thikn about my mission to educate and empower boomer women.

Keep the wheels turning.

Boomer Women Speak is simple, elegant, timeless, and says everything you want to say. The word "speak" can be a powerful word, especially when used in a concise context like this. I wouldn't dismiss that one yet.

How about this?

Boomer Women Live

Or, you could just call it "Dotsie" - and be just like Oprah!

Or you could have a shorter, snappier name and then have a tagline like "The magazine for baby boomer women"

That's it! Call it "Alive!" with the tagline from above.

I like that!

If you have a really long title with all the baby boomer words, it can get cumbersome.

You could go with, Boomer Women Broadcast.
Boomer Women Speak, has done pretty well for you so far though.

Yeah, Boomer Women Speak is already a recognized name, and it shows that we have a voice and we want to share it.

Boomer Women Speak pretty well says it all Dotsie. I agree that it has done you well and you've worked very hard to get the name known !

But Hot Flashes is "catchy" and is something we can all relate to in one way or another - from "looking forward to" to "been there - doing it"

I like the tag idea - short sweet and to the point

maybe combine them into something like

"HOT FLASHES"

I like "Hotflash"...........It plays off the Newsflash idea.
With Broadcast why not play off the word "broad" and do "Boomer Broad-Cast"

How about Boomer Womens' World? I'm looking for womenthing that includes our voices, stories, education pieces, etc. I'm think Workd could be it.
