A Writer's Night Before Christmas Dream - 12/14/06 03:46 PM
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring, not even my mouse..
And so I lay nestled all snug in my bed,
While visions of royalties danced in my head.
When out of my laptop, there rose such a clamor,
"You have mail!" it sang out in a musical manner.
'Twas a note from my agent, that jolly old elf
He said that my book had just flown off the shelf
And the Times said the work was a pleasant surprise
and should easily garner the Pulitzer Prize!
