Does any of you know how to copyright protect your website? What I mean is how do you register a website?

Thanks, JJ. My question arised because a few weeks back I remember noticing a website (don't remeber which one)that had an icon letting visitors know it was copyrighted.

You can always copy the "copyright" logo and put it on your site.

It's like having a "beware of the dog" sign on your front door. You don't have to own a dog....

check out Copyscape - www.copyscape.com

This site doesn't actually copyright your site, but it will search for any websites that may have copied your stuff - and it has downloadable banners you can put on your webpage - the "beware of dog" warning signs!! [Smile]
