Do you meet up with friends outside of your home?

We had a wonderful, but strenuous weekend. Friday night we were invited to dinner at a friend's house, about an hour and a half drive away. We had our granddaughter over for the weekend so she was with us, and after about 4 hours wanted to leave. Then Saturday we had friends over for dinner and Sunday the whole family was at our house to barbeque. I really love busy weekends like this, but I'm plum exhausted. People don't tend to meet at a restaurant here. They visit one another,...but I'm thinking of changing that, at least occasionally, to relieve us of all the work.

How about you? Do you have guests over, or do you meet up somewhere?

We do both, but I have to admit, I enjoy it more when we meet out somewhere!! Less stress on me.
