1000th Post

Wow. I can't believe it. My 1000th post. I know it's not really a big deal, but I thought it was significant in a way.

BWS has become so much a part of my life, online and even at home. I don't know how many times I've started a conversation with "One of my boomer friends..."

I'm so grateful to Dotsie for creating BWS.

Vicki, I echo that sentiment. I also start a lot of my sentences with "my boomer friends"...lol everyone I know, knows about the Boomer site. The site that got me through one of the toughest years I have had.

p.s. Vicki, congrats! And I meant to add to that previous post that logging onto BWS everyday is as automatic for me as...ah...turning on my Mr. Coffee Maker...No, it isn't a man, its a machine people...geeish...

JawJaw, I found the Magellan books site shut down. If you want one, I have about 10 left. I am searching for another publisher to publish it, I have my rights back as of February.

I sent an e-mail to the owner and operator of Magellan Books, demanding an accounting of what if any books were sold through his site. Of course, I have yet to hear back from him!!

CONGRATS on 1000 postings Vicki...that's a BIG milestone....I'm "addicted" to BWS myself - probably check in to see what's going on AT LEAST 3-4 times a day......!

Thats funny that you begin sentences with 'my Boomer friends.' It seems that quite often now when I am out and about I hear "hey, so what are the Boomers up to these days?" Thats how much a part of my life you have all become...

I'm not sure about that tent thing. The 1000 foot club is for people who have sex on planes at 1000 feet. Or maybe it's 10,000 feet. Or both. Who knows?
