What do you know about the pill and blood clots, or fibroids?

I found a funky vein in the top of my leg yesterday. I went immediately to the doctor. He's not concerned with clots. He's sending me for a pelvic ultrasound to be certain there are no firbous tumors resting on the vein.

Here I've been all excited about being on the pill because I feel so great during perimenopause. I'll scream if I found out this pill is harming me.
