I have to tell you this story. My daughter worked at a golf club in Scottsdale so always heard the stories about women golfers being so slow and stopping to put lipstick on, etc. She decides that I need to learn golf on my vacation and signs me up for a golf school. Four days of hitting one ball after the other. I could barely move at night. So, on my last day of school, she wants me to play a round with her. I get in the cart and she drives like a mad woman, full blast. Before we even stopped to play she tells me to turn around and get my club out of the bag so we won't hold up golfers. I almost had to jump from the cart and run! Then, she got very upset with me for taking a couple of practice swings (my instructor told me to to this!) and she'd take off while I was hanging halfway out of the cart. Then, she asks me if I needed to stop at the restroom. I was terrified to say yes and just meekly, while trembling, said, no.

LOL ! That is so funny, I can just picture it.
I hate it when the flyer behind me stand there with their hands on their hips glaring down that fairway. But I've learned to ignore them.
Dianne, I think the lesson in this story is; don't play golf with your daughter. Ha ha, I can just see it...hanging half way out of the car, you poor thing.

Thought of all of you golfing ladies today. They just finished with the All Star Cup here: Europe v US. And guess who were part of the US team? Alice Cooper and Meatloaf! Oh, and someone came up with this acronym for G.O.L.F. "Guys Only Ladies Forbidden". But that was only because Jodie Kidd and Jane Seymour were doing much better than Michael Johnson after his ball rolled 15 feet from tee off.

Sounds like some of my tee offs! Alice Cooper is actually a very good golfer but he doesn't wear his make up while playing!

What a smart guy. that make-up just smears when you sweat.
