Sister Madonna Buder from Washington state is an inspiration in the triathlete and marathon world worldwide.

You will find this little videoclip and interview inspiring

It is a blend of incredible womanly stamina combined with her faith.

Occasionally she does do some of these very difficult triatholons ..by running for someone else that she cares about.
Perhaps this could help some of us..when we walk, etc. for exercise and give us that extra motivation/strength.

What an inspiration. The youtube wasn't perfect for me. It kept going in and out, but I got the gist of it. And to think she didn't begin until she was 50. Many of us are right around that age. What do you think we'll do in 2009 that might be a life long change?

orchid, have you considered adding swimming or running to your exercise regimen?

Study scripture. That's an exercise which contributes to [life long change]. True? And I think I'll probably be helping residents at the County Home. That blesses them and me at the
same time.
