Hey...there seem to be so many of us exercising...walking, rowing, biking...all kinds of fun things...that I wanted to let you know about a neat website... www.mapmyfitness.com It's free and has a map feature that you can actually map out your walk or ride to see how long it is...it will calculate the calories burned as well...and you can save your workouts and keep track of how much you've done each week...it's really a lot of fun...and motivating as well.

You can even include gym workouts and classes...it's too cool!

Hi Jane, so nice to see you here again. Been missing you. The only exercise I have ever enjoyed is dancercise. Music and moving to the beat. When line dancing was popular, I learned a few dances and taught it as dancercise. We all had a ball and I made some bucks.

Hey Anne, speaking from experience, when a regular female cyclist is on the road solo, she is noticed by male cyclist or 2. Often we nod at each other or say good morning when passing. The camaderie of cycling solo on quiet, long roads is instant recognition of another comrade also on the bike on the road of life.

Okay, I just went there adnd there and right on the home page were maps of walking that are within a couple miles of my home. How's that work? Or was it a coincidence?

Dotsie,

I think they do that based on where your computer is located. When I logged on at my daughter's it showed me stuff in her area. Not sure how it works.
