Ah, this is one I can't repeat enough for my kids. Walk, call a cab, call me, but whatever you do, do not get behind the wheel of a car if you've been drinking, nor get in a car with someone else who has been drinking. Over and over again. I talk until I'm blue in the face!

Years ago, my young handsome cousin (he was 17)died because he got into a car with a kid who had too much to drink. He hit a telepohone pole and they were killed, just two weeks before graduation from high school....Preach mothers, PREACH. I still nag my son and grandkids.
