Dry Easter celebration - 04/17/06 05:22 AM

Today we had a dry Easter celebration and it was awesome.

Our brunch began at 11:30am so we thought there was no reason to serve alcohol. In the past we probably would have made mimosas and had some beer and wine for those who wanted to indulge. We chose to serve no alcohol and no one even asked for it.

Do you always serve alcohol when you entertain? Just wondering...

No never did, never will and as a child growing up even though my grandfather made his own home brew (beer) and wine from his own vineyard he never drank in front of us kids. No one ever seems to miss it at my parties there is so much delicious food and I always serve really tasty punch and all types of soda. No one ever mentions booze of any kind so I guess they are use to not getting any at my house....
