Christmas Candlelight Service - 12/11/05 04:54 AM

Oh, how beautiful the Christmas Eve service is at our Church and the bells playing and the singing of Christmas hymns . I love the late night service don't you all . It just does't seem like Christmas without singing of "Silent Night"

What a wonderful way to welcome Christmas don't you say. ! We come home feeling the joys of the the birth of baby Jesus .

Our church which is beautiful anyway is so adorned at Christmas that it takes ones breath away. The lobby sells "homemade cookies" and the cafateria serves wonderful holiday meals to those needing a place to go. Some people bring their entire familys there to enjoy home cooking at a very reasonable price and all can join in the singing which after services is piped in. I agree Nancy.

This sounds heavenly (good pun) and like something belonging on a Hallmark card. I loved your description and wish I could be there to hear you sing! I also enjoyed reading about your childhood memory. It gave me goosebumps...the good kind!
