Allflowerz recommended The Motel; I think The Notebook is a good movie. It's a great love story!

So many good movies out there. I read the notebook, then saw the movie. While I didn't like the book, I DID love the movie. Usually, it's the opposite.

That's funny. I loved the book, but didn't care for the movie. I read it way back when it first came out.

That young James Garner, looked like my son. It seemed like there was so much love between the two main characters.
And the way it ended, with both going to Heaven together,
I thought it was heartwarming. But then we can all look at the same thing and see something different.

I have always loved James Garner so that may be why I loved the movie. I will say that I didn't think the movie OR the book gave accurate insight into dementia. It romanticized it. But then, that's what made the story click for people.

If they showed what it is really like, who would read the book?
