You know when you are in a relationship, sometimes you just have to make sacrifices for the one you love. This one is going to be hard for me.

Dennis just cannot do stairs anymore, so we have to move to a one floor home. And since I have to do all of the chores now, too, we have decided to move to a condo.

I don't mind the idea of moving to a new place, but I will so miss my deck and my garden that I have worked on over the past 4 years. It's been my spring, summer and fall sanctuary and so much of me is in the back yard. I designed it all, and while we hired someone else to actually build the deck, I did all of the digging out of the yard, the planting of the plants, laying the rocks and the pavers and put tons of love into it.

But, it was a labor of love, and I will always have these 4 years of enjoying the creation of my beautiful out of doors santuary. I will look for a condo with a solarium or a large deck that I can make into my new outdoor home.
