Just wondering.

I use it all the time but could use some help on reference functions.

Invest in Quick Books -- it's the best thing I ever did for my business. It takes a little time to set it all up, but then you have cusomized invoices, reports, etc. Great at tax time too!

Well, I really utilize my Excel so that I don't have to invest in a program. Never needed it!

I've created invoices, download my financial institutions' spreadsheets etc, I can sort, modify etc. Excel is working for me! I love it.

Still looking for someone who uses Excel!

I only use Excel in basic way.

My partner who has an engineering and also master's in business degrees, does incredible stuff in Excel. Like I mean embedded algebraic equations that would do automatic calculations across 200 columns/cells. Complex spreadsheets. Interrelated formulae across multiple spreadsheets.

when I worked for an engineering firm I saw the same tendencies in all the engineers,..very Excel spreadsheet driven. They also created form templates with logos...which one could have more easily used Microsoft Word.

I am a relational database software person, not Excel...I can tell you all about designing databases with metadata fields, repeating fields, unlimited character length, nested searching, etc.

I use Quickbooks and I love it. There is a learning curve to it and a bit more advanced than quicken but gives you automatic financial statements and budget and cash flow reports which is a great help when you are following a business plan.
