I decided to begin this thread for several reasons: this seems to be a topic for women in the forums, I've received quite a few stories about women searching for children they placed for adoption, also some about finding children, one about finding parents, and two of my children are adopted.

All of the stories have opened my eyes to the many emotions involved in adoption.

What are your stories?

Mine- after four years of undiagnosed infertility my husband and I called Catholic Charities inquired about the quickest way to get a healthy child. We were told Korean adoption was the way to go. We immediately filed and within 3 1/2 years we had two healthy children in our home, one boy, one girl. I got pregnant while waiting for our daughter to arrive. A fewmonths after our daughter's arrival, I gave birth to another son. By the grace of God we quickly had a family with three children. [Wink]
