My children (4) are all grown and range in age from 21 to 35. They're all doing well - two daughters are married (to great guys)and employed in responsible positions, and they both own their own homes. My youngest daughter and son are both in college and doing well.

But quite often I have dreams about them where they're young children (preschool age) and in danger. I'm always trying to save them in my dreams and wake up exhausted.

It doesn't take a Freud to figure out that I still worry about them. My 2nd daughter has been having some weird dizzy spells and the doctors haven't figure out quite why yet. Not a blood sugar thing, possibly a migraine issue but the meds haven't made the spells go away yet. So I have these dreams. I guess you never stop being a mom.

No, you never do stop being a mom! My 80 year old mother still worries about all three of us, talks to each of us at least weekly, and always has advice...

I hope the docs figure out what is causing your 2nd daughter's dizzy spells. Could be something related to her ears, I suppose.. I know both my father and my maternal grandfather both had episodes of dizziness which were diagnosed as Meniere's syndrome, though I think ringing of the ears and migraines often accompany it. There's a bit more on that here: Meniere's syndrome

I figure it's a blessing that our maternal urges never really go away...
