It's probably the weather, but I decided I am in the mood for some luscious rice pudding. Right now I am cooking up some organic Texmati brown rice - which cooks for 45 minutes and then has to sit for another 10...

I plan to incorporate that into a nice vanilla custard.

I've never made rice pudding this way before. In the past, I've always just added the uncooked rice into the custard. But as this rice has to cook for so long, I thought I would try this method.
