I made this yesterday and it turned out great! I googled a lot of recipes but didn't like any of them (ingredients I won't use; ingredients I might use but didn't have and didn't want to buy, etc.) so I culled the group and came up with this. Measurements are approximate but pretty close.

Cover bottom of 10" frypan with a little oil. Add the following, chopped as you wish:
12 mushrooms
1 yellow onion
1/2 cup walnuts
2 sticks celery with leaves

Saute on low heat for ~15 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir sporadically.

On another burner, fill a medium saucepan with
3 1/2 cups water
1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
Heat to boil, stirring constantly. Turn heat to low and keep stirring for another minute or you'll get lumps. Continue stirring every minute or 2, until all the water is absorbed and you have a mushy paste. Maybe 8-10 minutes. Then stir in
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/8 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 tbs. olive oil
1/2 cup raisins
2 tbs. bacos (textured soy protein)
Mix everything very well.

Then mix the contents of the 2 pans together, into whichever pan is larger.

Remove the pan from the stove and let it cool for 30 minutes or so. Then mix again.

Add 2 beaten eggs and mix well. Right now it should be the texture of glump.

Pour/dump it into a 9" baking pan. Unless your pan is very old and sticks to everything, you don't need additional oil. Cover top with aluminum foil.

Bake 1 hour at 350. Remove foil 10 minutes from the end if you want to brown the top.
