Hi. My name is Mary Biederstadt. I'm new here. I began to have incontinence problems years ago, while laughing, sneezing, sudden movements, etc... I was having issues with painful sex, constipation, hemorrhoids, GERD and painful urination at the same time. Basically falling apart!

I had a total meltdown last spring and researched like crazy on the internet. I've discovered some amazing things about how the body works.

I started writing a blog to inform people about their Psoas and Piriformis muscles, and how to stretch them. These muscles and others in the area are what truly supports our internal organs and holds them up in the right places! Among other things, I learned the Pigeon Pose, and I don't have incontinence anymore.

Whoopi Goldberg raised this topic of stress incontinence on "The View" yesterday. Apparently it can affect women of all ages, and is known to impact all of us at some point in our older years.

No wonder the "Poise" aisle in supermarkets and drug stores has taken up a lot more space these last few years. lol It's a subject no one like to talk about, but since it apparently happens to every woman sooner or later, I'd much rather see more commercials for proper pantiliners than for Viagara. lol

Marybi, this is a forum filled with some of the most intelligent women on this planet. We are eager to learn new things and also to give advice we feel may be helpful to others.
