I, too, experienced postmenopausal bleeding -- to the point where I was wearing tampons and 2 pads! I ended up having an endometrial ablation done (instead of a hysterectomy!), which solved the problem. After I got over the bleeding from the surgery, I never bled again. It's a fairly simple (and far less invasive and expensive) procedure where the lining of your uterus is essentially cauterized. Anyone who's got postmenopausal bleeding should explore this option if other tests come back negative. Thank goodness for enlightened physicians!
