My mom's 30 some odd year old pressure cooker died. Actually it works but the rubber around the lid has deteriorated and fallen apart, and can't be replaced due to it's age. So I am searchig for a new pressure cooker for her. Found a really nice 5 quart one at Wards.

My dryer now 21 years old is giving me fits with the lint catcher, also wearing out and can't be replaced. So I managed to rig it with fishing line and so far, so good, but it is just a matter of time. Sad when the appliances still work but can't be used because we can't get parts anymore.
