If money was no object and you could go anywhere for a whole week or maybe two weeks, where would you go? Who would you go with and what kind of things would you do there?

Now I tend to shop like crazy wherever I travel to lol.

I'd leave here so fast that you could play cards on my shirt-tail. I'd go to Canada and scoop up my babies, (kids, grandkids and other's kids that I love)and bring tham back to Tennessee and live happily ever after...for two weeks! [Big Grin]

That's easy for me. Ireland. Hands down. Can't tell you who I'd take. And... I would go out into the country side and meet the local folks.

My second place would be to travel from state to state and meet the ladies on this board. I would, of course, carry Trixie! Would that be cool or what?

I would gather my hubby and kids and hit a warm, sunny island.

Hubby and I would travel to Germany....I've always wanted to go. We would do the typical tourist thing, and see all we could see within the 2 weeks time. Always thought the countryside of Germany was beautiful. Have thoughts of wonderful festivals where everyone dances around singing with huge steins of beer...laughing and making merry...tasting the different foods, enjoying the people and talking...talking...talking...

Well, first I will be going south this summer and hope to meet up with Jaw Jaw and then I would like for my husband and I to fly to Paris and then to New England to Maine to rent a house for and week and then drop down to see Lousia for a couple of days in Boston , Mass.

I will be doing the first one going south this summer and into Jaw Jaw's neck of the woods .
How that for dreaming .

If money were no object and terrorists were a thing of the past, I'd travel to Greece and take a cruise and tour all the ancient ruins.

If money were no object, terrorism was a thing of the past, and I had recovered from my total distaste for flying, I would pack up my whole family and circle the globe. This time I would include Russia, China, and Australia which I missed before.

Then I would come home and build a children's arts camp where we would teach all forms of artistic expression and end up with a big summer performance, art show, and fair. And if I still had money, I would do it over and over again.

I would go everywhere it was possible to go, starting with Paris, Rome, Austria (everything I saw in Sound of Music), Kenya for a safari, the Antarctica to see the penquins, Guatamala for some woven blankets, Nova Scotia to visit my best friend, Yukon because I've always wanted to go there, Los Angeles to go on the Price is Right (just to say we did it), Vegas to taste some of Chatty's home-cooking...we'd probably just sell our house and go, and keep going til we ran out of places to visit.

smile, terrorism definitely enters the picture for me too.

A dear friend went to Paris during Thanksgiving. I prayed for her safe return. I even advised her not to go due to the unrest in that area a couple weeks prior.

She didn't listen. Off she went with her daughter. And they had a fantastic time. No worries, no fears.

I must be a scaredy cat.

I confess--I am a scaredy cat too!

I would just like a quiet cabin in teh woods in New England near a little town where I could go site seeing and antique shopping. I would like a hammock and binoculars and bird seed to watch God's creatures. I would go on long walks and just relax.......

Sound too boring?

But remember ladies you have an unlimited source of money...so of course you'd have your own jet, no terrorists there!!! I have always wanted to see all of these United States preferably in a huge fully furnished plush motor home with a big strong driver...My family and I would nose around into small out of the way towns and see the wonders of the United States first. If time allowed then maybe seeing another land like Italy would be nice but only after seeing and appreciating our own country.....

If Money were no object I'd gather up my hubby and all of my kiddies and my 2 cocker spaniels and move to a quiet tropical island preferably below the hurricane line....we'd all stay there until the stress and strain of our present lives were a thing of the past ( probably 2 0r 3 years) and then I'd like to visit my cousins in Ireland and then see the Vatican ... and after that.... Home Sweet Home!!!!
