Ever dream of being on Oprah? - 02/04/06 03:04 AM

Okay...isn't that every writer's dream?

Well, dreams do come true, and writer Janet Fitch, author of "White Oleander," did get that call from Oprah. After 20 years of rejections (yes, 20 years!), her first book became Oprah's Book Club pick, and then the rest as they say was a ga-zillion sales and a hit movie.

Hello, Boomer Women! I'm Nancy Mills, the founder of Spirited Woman, a new and inspiring community for women.

I'm proud to say we've just launched the Spirited Woman Circle -
an exclusive monthly 1-hour phone conversation series with famous authors, actresses, and more.

On March 7th, Janet Fitch will be our first guest at 10 am PST. Janet's never done a teleseminar before so this is a very rare opportunity. She'll talk about how phenomenal recognition has changed her life, her new book "Paint It Black," and how writers should never give up and more.

Upcoming guests in our eight-part series, include mega-selling authors Fannie Flagg "Fried Green Tomatoes" and Elizabeth Forsythe Hailey "A Woman of Independent Means."

All our guests, will speak candidly about their lives, careers, and more. You'll be able to ask questions and chat with each guest.

It's an extraordinary opportunity with extraordinary women. I welcome you to join us.

Thank you so much. I'm so very excited about this series.

Best Wishes,

Nancy! HELLO! I'm so glad you've posted about this series in here because we have a lot of writers and this is almost like a once in a lifetime to get up close and personal with some big names.

Also, I LOVE your prices. Thank you for making it affordable so people like me on a budget can still participate. I have to carefully pick my learning tools, but I will NOT miss this!

I'm so glad to see you back in the forums and hope you'll tell us more as the time for the first one draws near.
